This blog is about my use of 3D additive manufacturing technology as well as developments in the technology of 3D printing, 3D printers and its progression into the mainstream and into the average household. I hope we both enjoy the journey and also appreciate looking back to where we started this revolution from.

"3D printing is printing without paper"?
According to a recent interview by CNN an expert in 3D printing stated about 3D printing technology that “It can literally print a 3D product from a machine, not just paper…if you print on paper, you just print one layer.”. One company, Mcor Technologies would like to differ. They offer a range of 3D printers that make 3D prints from paper. In fact one of their 3D printers can print a 3D print in more than one million colors. Since their build media is based on paper they are able to easily recycle the models and the build by products. More info about their products and the interview at the Mcor website.
